GENERAL INFORMATION
This website uses Google Analytics and Facebook cookies. A cookie is a small text file automatically stored in your browser by a website during your visit. Cookies allow Asmae – Association Sœur Emmanuelle to retain information about the way you use the website. They help us understand the ways users of the website behave and so enable us to improve your experience and make it easier for you to use the site. WHAT ARE COOKIES?
Cookies are small text files generated by the websites you visit, which store data that may be useful later. This data is used to keep your information between pages, but also to analyse how you interact with the site.
Cookies are secure, they can only store information that is made available by the browser, information that the user has previously entered into the browser or that is included in page requests. They cannot execute code and cannot be used to access your computer. If a website encrypts information contained in a cookie, only that site will be able to read that information.
There are two different types of cookies with different uses and content: temporary and persistent.
Temporary cookies contain information that is used during your browsing session. These cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser. Nothing is saved on your computer once you’ve finished browsing. Persistent cookies are used to store information that is used between visits. This data allows the sites to recognise that you are a recurring visitor, and adapt accordingly.
WHY USE COOKIES?
Cookies are used by the site to keep information about your session while you browse the site, to keep details of your navigation and to check if you are logged in.
