On 9 June 2026, the "Pour des adolescentes FORTES !" (For POWERFUL teenage girl!) programm will be officially launched! It aims to strengthen collective action by feminist organisations and movements in order to address the challenges faced by teenage girls in the Indian Ocean region.

In highly vulnerable situations, helping young people enter the workforce is a key way to empower them to build their future. By offering tailored training, job placement support, and concrete opportunities, Asmae promotes sustainable paths to self-reliance through its “Jeunesses Actrices de leur Avenir” and “Youth for Change” programs.

In an uncertain environment, Asmae Liban is adapting its projects to ensure the continuity of essential activities, while placing the safety of its teams, partners, and beneficiaries at the forefront of its priorities.

The right to identity begins at birth. Being registered with the civil registry means being recognized by the state and having access to education, healthcare, and social protection. Without an identity, a child may find themselves excluded from essential services that should otherwise be guaranteed to them.

Every day, displaced children lose access to school, leaving them at risk of dropping out, entering the workforce too early, and facing violence. The decline in international aid is exacerbating the situation, leading to the closure of essential facilities. In response to this emergency, Asmae is working through the PEACE program to keep children in school and protect their future.
